SumDU has become one of seven Ukrainian organizations that have joined development and implementation of joint Master’s programs under the EU Erasmus+ program.
SumDU is an associate partner of the Research and Innovation in Higher Education (MARINE) project. The project is being implemented together with the world’s leading institutions with deep experience. These are Danube University of Krems (Austria), University of Tampere (Finland), Beijing Normal University (China), Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences (Germany), Loránd Eötvös University of Budapest (Hungary) and Thapar University (India).
34 projects were selected under the EU Erasmus+ program. Six of them are being implemented in Ukrainian organizations.
The joint Master’s programs that will be developed and implemented as part of these initiatives will provide Ukrainian students with an opportunity to receive top-level education together with international partners. After all, in Erasmus Mundus projects, Ukrainian organizations will be part of consortia with countries such as: Austria, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, China, Cameroon, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, South Korea, South Africa, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Tanzania, the United Kingdom, the United States, Venezuela and Vietnam.
Notes: Erasmus+ is a European Union program to promote the educational, professional and personal development of EU and other citizens. The Erasmus+ program supports educational mobility, projects and partnerships of cooperation between organizations, policy development and cooperation. The program offers many opportunities for all groups of people and different types of organizations. Since 2014, 390 scholarship holders from Ukraine have received funding to study at Erasmus Mundus joint educational programs.
