Relevant research is being conducted by members of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies of the IFSK Faculty. It deals with the project ServU-ERASMUS-EDU-2023. Its implementation at SumDU is coordinated by Inna SHKOLNYK (first vice-rector).
Focus group interviews to identify needs of territorial communities for resilience, recovery and development were conducted in November within the Sumy, Konotop and Putivl communities.
“The study purpose is to identify problems, needs and resources of local communities in wartime and post-war conditions for developing courses that will promote community-oriented services,” – commented Andriana KOSTENKO (head of the Department of Psychology, Political Science and Socio-Cultural Technologies).
In each community, representatives of local governments, businesses, public sector, and community members, including vulnerable groups, joined the focus groups.
The research is being implemented by SumDU in cooperation with the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities.
