SumDU continues its systematic work to restore infrastructure damaged by missile attack. A number of important measures were implemented during this week.

In Academic Building 2, 29 windows and 31 double-glazed windows were replaced. Repair work is also continuing on Armstrong suspended ceilings, which will provide a safe and comfortable educational environment.

3 wooden and 13 plastic windows were installed in Academic Building 3. It significantly improves thermal insulation and appearance of the premises.

Large-scale roof repair work is continuing at the Congress Center. This week, support posts and beams were installed. Lathing and OSB boards were mounted on a 150 m² roof section, specifically in the Reading Hall area.

Besides, 40 m³ of construction debris was removed, freeing up space for next recovery stages. The total volume of debris removed since the start of work has already exceeded 400 m³.

SumDU thanks everyone who is involved in the recovery. Your support allows the university to quickly restore its educational and scientific infrastructure, as well as create comfortable and safe conditions for students and lecturers.
