On 25 March 2026, results of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 were published. This year’s edition contains an independent comparative analysis of success of over 18,300 educational programs chosen for study by students from more than 1,700 universities in 100 countries around the world.

SumDU confirms its high status in the field “Economics and Econometrics” for the second year in a row. Compared to last year, the university improved its result, taking 501-550 places in the world ranking.

Among the six Ukrainian institutions represented in this category, SumDU is on first place together with Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
