The book “Reducing Inequalities Towards Sustainable Development Goals: Multilevel Approach” was presented at SumDU Congress Center by its editors: Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Management of Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management Hanna Shvindina and professor Medani P. Bhandari from the USA, who spoke online about the idea and his vision of the project to the meeting participants.

Hanna Shvindina mentioned that the edition comprises scientific articles of Ukrainian scholars. The authors of the sections were the colleagues from Sumy State University, who are recognized experts and researchers with relevant experience within the topic.

“The book’s sections are dedicated to various aims of the sustainable development program, but they are related to the alarming problem of today’s world, namely the one of inequality. It exists in all countries, but in different proportions. All the authors contributed to comprehension of the problems of unbalanced social, environmental and economic development. This is the first time this project is implemented at SumDU. Its idea is to show European, American practices that can reduce inequality”, - said the editor of the publication.

The editors did a great job by combining research results and authors’ findings with current global trends.

The book is published in English by the Danish publishing house River Publishers. According to its authors, it will be useful for experts, politicians, community activists and agencies as a basis for comprehending the most important public issues.
