Yuliia Bondarenko and Svitlana Voropai, SumDU teachers of the Department of Journalism and Philology, together with the students of Sumy Classical Gymnasium №1 visited Poland within the German project “Musik treffen”. Together with Ukrainian students Polish and German students joined the event. As the result of the week-long collaboration, pupils prepared and presented the concert, that took place at the theatre of Kwidzyn city, which was attended by the representatives of the Mayor’s Office and the local schools’ administration. After the concert, Polish students invited Ukrainian and German friends to their school for the excursion.

Besides working on the joint music project, the students visited the city of Sopot, where they got acquainted with local landmarks. The learning of Polish history and other European countries was held at the museum “Solidarity” in Gdansk. Ukrainian high school students reflected their impressions of their journey through social networks and their own YouTube channels, practicing journalistic skills.
