Sumy State University joined the international project “Two steps: internationalization in practice – Sweden, Ukraine, Belarus” within the cooperation with the Baltic University Programme (BUP).

The project included two face-to-face stages on the base of Uppsala University (Sweden). The first stage took place in May, the second one – in December 2019. The project is aimed at enhancement of HEIs internationalization and establishment of collaboration among 26 universities of Ukraine, Sweden and Belarus.

Nadiia Kostiuchenko, the Head of the Department for Internationalization of Educational Activity, together with Olena Gorobchenko, the Deputy Head of the International Affairs Department, are participating in this programme from SumDU.

SumDU representatives together with colleagues from 5 Ukrainian universities and Uppsala University commenced joint preparation of 2 applications in direction “Capacity building in higher education”, that are planned to be submitted to participate in the EU Erasmus+ Programme competition. Application deadline – February 5th 2020.
