SumDU is a leader among the universities according to the results of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research works

Sumy State University took 1^st place among more than 200 domestic HEIs in the number of prizes in the All-Ukrainian competition of student research works of 2019/2020 academic year, once again confirming the high level of scientific qualification of students.

The TOP-5 leaders of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research works also included Lviv Polytechnic National University, Kremenchuk Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi National University, Kharkiv National Automobile and Highway University, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

SumDU students won 97 prizes, including 18 diplomas of the 1^st degree, 28 diplomas of the 2^nd degree, 51 diplomas of the 3^rd degree.

The contestants from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies won the most prizes - 20.

The allocation of the results by the institutes and faculties of SumDU is the following:

Academic and Research Institute of Law - 19;

Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies - 17;

Oleg Balatskyi Academic and Research Institute of Finance, Economics and Management - 16;

Academic and Research Institute of Business Technologies "UAB" - 11;

Medical Institute - 6;

Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications - 3;

Shostka Institute of Sumy State University - 3;

Konotop Institute of Sumy State University - 1;

Department of Military Training - 1.

The largest number of achievements has been won by the students under the guidance of the Professor from the Department of Computer Science, the section of Information Technologies of Design Yevhen Lavrov - 10 prizes (Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology).
