Yaryna Fedorchenko comes from Okhtyrka, where she began her career in sports. Well-known coaches Yurii Meierovych and Volodymyr Kysil prepared the future champion.

It should be noted that this is not Yaryna's first sports achievement of this level: in 2018 at the World Championship, she won a silver medal, in 2019 - a bronze one. And here is the desired gold.

According to the leading specialist of the SumDU sports club, judo coach Serhii Kolesnichenko, the girl was scrupulously preparing for the competition, although it was not easy under the quarantine conditions. Yaryna underwent a sports training camp in Sumy twice, then trained in Koncha Zaspa. The athletes went to Serbia a week before the competition for adaptation and training.

Despite a busy training schedule, Yaryna studies well. She tells the teachers that she has always dreamed of entering SumDU and is proud to study at such a prestigious institution of higher education.

Sumy State University is also proud of its student and wishes Yaryna Fedorchenko further sports and educational victories!
