On 26 February 2026, within the KA2 Erasmus+ DigiUni project (Digital University – Open Ukrainian Initiative), trainers from SumDU held an introductory meeting with authors and developers of innovative educational content.

The meeting, which brought together over 40 leading teachers from all university faculties, was devoted to active phase of training and direct creation of courses for the all-Ukrainian DigiPlatform.

The project trainers were Yurii ZUBAN (director of the Center for E-Learning Technologies), Oksana SHOVKOPLIAS (acting head of the Department of Computer Sciences) and Anna Nenia (acting head of the Department of Information Technologies). They presented a strategic vision and practical steps for development based on innovative didactic models.

Particular attention was paid to a DigiUni contribution to supporting higher education in Ukraine during and after the war. One provided a brief description of the approved methodology for creating digital content, co-developed by SumDU. In addition, the speakers analyzed the project roadmap and identified key requirements for open educational resources. It will be further integrated into a single all-Ukrainian platform.

This event was the first internal university step in preparing teams of developers who will begin modernizing digital courses after completing studies in April 2026.
