Congratulations to Vasyl Karpusha on his appointment as Rector of SumDU

Vasyl Karpusha, based on the election results, is appointed Rector of Sumy State University by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

83.8% of voters supported Vasyl Karpusha in the elections held on December 17th, 2020.

The Rector of SumDU is appointed for a term of five years, as elected by competition in accordance with Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine "On higher education".

Vasyl Karpusha – the Associate Professor, Ph.D. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences. For a long time, he worked as the First Vice-Rector of the university prior to his election for a rector’s position.
