Anastasiia Antipina, a student of the Medical Institute of Sumy State University, won a bronze medal at the European Judo Cup.

The European Cup was held on February 27-28 in Prague (Czech Republic). Ukraine was represented by 29 athletes, who eventually won 4 medals: 2 silver and 2 bronze.

Anastasiia Antipina competed on the first day of the competition, in the weight category up to 63 kg. The opening fight brought the girl a victory over the Romanian athlete, but in the quarterfinals, Anastasiia lost to the champion from the Netherlands. The next bouts were successful for the SumDU student and granted her a "bronze".

It is worth noting that for Anastasiia Antipina, the medal was the first in her adult career in the international arena.

Sumy State University congratulates the athlete on her significant achievement and wishes her further sports and professional development.
