SumDU completed a joint project with Washington State University (USA) "Global Virtual Classroom"

This year in the programme of virtual academic mobility "International Relations and Global Leadership", 35 applicants from 6 vocational colleges and 2 HEIs of the Sumy region at the initiative of the Student Council at the Regional State Administration joined the project on a competitive basis together with the Oleg Balatskyi Department of Management of the Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management of Sumy State University and Kyiv HEIs.

"Students of the Academic and Research Institute of Business, Economics and Management, as well as participants from other institutions received certificates signed by Professor of the Carson College of Business Dipra Jha, which provides for 2 ECTS credits. I kindly remind that all students can enroll these results in their institutions, as well as participants of our project Sumy Debate School of Debate club "Onyx", - reported Mykyta Kovalevskyi, the Head of Student Council at the Regional State Administration.

The lecturers of the programme were SumDU lecturers Hanna Shvindina, Tetiana Maiboroda, Yuliia Opanasiuk, as well as the experts from Great Britain, China, Turkey, the USA, Ukraine, and India. At the end of the project, SumDU representatives held several online meetings with students and teachers of Lviv region, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Poltava, in particular, talking about the experience of SumDU and the opportunity to join the project on a competitive basis, presented the programme at the seminar "Internationalization of HE: experience of the USA and Ukraine".
