Athletes of SumDU held an open Olympic class

On September 15, the Olympic class took place on the base of the Palace of Student Sports of Sumy State University. The organizers of the event are the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Medical Institute and the Sports Club of SumDU.

Honorary guests of the Olympic class were the Head of the Sumy Regional ranch of the National Olympic Committee, the silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Nagano, 1998 Olena PETROVA and the Director of the State Institution "Eastern State Center for Athletics Olympic Training", International Master of Sport in athletics, World Universiade Champion, the postgraduate of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of SumDU Vitalii KORZH.

During the event, the performances of the judo section (coach Kyrylo MACHULA), SumDU dance studio "S&P" (Head Liudmyla KRAMINSKA), sports exercises performed by students majoring in "Physical Culture and Sports" were demonstrated, as well as an informative quiz on Olympic themes with incentive gifts from the Sumy Regional branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
