SumDU volunteers held an event on the occasion of the International Day of Peace

On September 21, the world community celebrates the International Day of Peace. The volunteers of Sumy State University also joined the celebration, organizing an event on the central square of the institution.

Students handed out symbolic pigeons to students, staff, and passers-by with good, motivational wishes, held a master class where they learned to create origami pigeons.

The participants of the event had an opportunity to write pleasant words and wishes of peace with their own hands, and then place them on the symbolic Cloud of wishes. At the end of the event, the volunteers united in a single word "Peace" to demonstrate that peace is the main desire that unites all the people of our country and the whole planet.
