SumDU students collected a full set of awards at the World Youth Sambo Cup

On October 15th-17th, the World Youth Sambo Cup took place in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The Ukraine national team included three students of Sumy State University. They all returned home with awards of various ranks.

Nataliia CHYSTIAKOVA became the world champion among juniors (up to 20 years old) in the weight category up to 72 kg. Oleksii HALAKA became the silver medalist in the competition among young men (up to 18 years old) in the weight category of 98+ kg. Both students are majoring in "Physical Culture and Sports" at the Medical Institute.

The student of the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies Yaryna FEDORCHENKO won a bronze award among girls (up to 18 years old) in the weight category up to 47 kg.
