The Biomedical Research Center of the SumDU Medical Institute received a new EU Horizon Europe MSCA-SE project “Electrically Conductive Polymer 3D Scaffolds as New Strategies for Biomedical Applications”.

The project develops innovative solutions via MXenes – a new class of 2D materials consisting of transition metal carbides/carbonitrides.

The SumDU Biomedical Research Center has gathered partners for joint work. Among them, there is the Material Science Center (Kyiv, Ukraine) that produces MXenes. Other project participants are the University of Latvia, the University of Eastern Finland, the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, the French National Institute of Health, the Vilnius University, the Latvian Institute of Electronics and Computer Science, the Brazilian University of Campinas, BIOFABICS LDA, RESPILON MEMBRANES S.R.O.

The new project is a progressive step in developing Ukrainian medicine. With new ideas, innovative technologies and research mobility, SumDU experts make a significant contribution to the present and future of Ukraine, strengthening its scientific potential.

SumDU congratulates the Biomedical Research Center on this achievement and wishes further success!
