SumDU holds leading positions among the most cited universities of Ukraine according to the results of Transparent Ranking from Webometrics

Webometrics has published the first edition of its subsidiary Transparent Ranking in the new year, which will be included in the main rating.

SumDU took the fourth place among the most cited universities of Ukraine, retaining its position over the past six months and yielding only to Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, Taras Shevchenko National University, and National Technical University ”Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”.

In total, the ranking (http://www.webometrics.info/en/transparent) includes about 4,800 universities around the world with a total of at least 1,000 citations. Of these, 87 are higher education institutions in Ukraine.
