Studying is resumed at SumDU

On the 1^st of April, at Sumy State University, after the forced vacation, the educational process was resumed in the spring semester of the 2021/22 academic year.

The educational process is conducted in the remote (synchronous and / or asynchronous) format, taking into account the technical capabilities of all participants, using available communication channels: video conferencing, personal account, e-mail, forums, social networks.

Students who are in the ranks of territorial defense have the opportunity to study according to the individual schedule or apply for academic leave. Academic leave is also granted to the students who are in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In cases when students wish to study in higher education institutions at the place of their current residence (in Ukraine or abroad), the university helps to provide the  academic mobility (domestic or international).

The review of the requirements for writing term papers (projects), practice reports, qualifying papers with account of the technical capabilities of higher education seekers is being planned. First of all, the graduating departments and structural subdivisions of SumDU are considered as the bases of passing the practice of the graduates.

Sumy State University supports the initiative of the President of Ukraine to hold a daily minute of silence. Every day, even during the educational events, at 9:00, the staff and students of SumDU honor the memory of our compatriots who have died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
