The international Conference DSMIE brings up the scientists together 5 year in a row

The Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies of Sumy State University held the 5th International Conference "Design, Simulation, Manufacturing: The Innovation Exchange" (5th International Conference on Design, Simulation, Manufacturing: The Innovation Exchange).

The conference is organized by Sumy State University, Poznan University of Technology and the International Association for Technological Development and Innovation. The conference was held in a mixed format - participants could join the conference offline at both Poznan University of Technology and Sumy State University, as well as online - in four virtual halls.

According to the program, 6 plenary reports from the invited speakers were presented. Among them there are world-renowned scientists with high scientometric indicators, in particular, two scientists are in the TOP-2% of the most cited scientists in the world (Stanford list), as well as industry representatives who hold high positions in world-famous companies.

Invited speakers: prof. George-Christopher Wozniakos (National Technical University of Athens, Greece), prof. Shimon Wojciechowski (Poznan University of Technology, Poland), prof. Dariusz Mazurkiewicz (Lublin University of Technology, Poland), prof. Sahin YIDRIRIM (University of Erciyes, Turkey), Dr. Volodymyr DOLHIH (Seco Tools AB, Sweden), Christian KOGUT and Przemyslaw PASIH (InterMarium, Poland).

In total, the Conference was attended by more than 400 people from 16 countries (Germany, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Turkey, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, etc.), who are representatives of academic, research institutions and organizations and world-famous industrial enterprises. including WAGO, Germany: Fraunhofer Italia Research, Italy; InsideLimits, Portugal; SecoTools AB, Sweden; InterMarium, Poland).

Proceedings of the conference were published in two volumes of the publication "Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering" by Springer Nature, edited by Professor Vitaly IVANOV, and indexed by the scientometric database Scopus. Indexing by the Web of Science Core Collection database is expected.

"This year's conference is a jubilee, its holding is an important tool for strengthening the academic image of SumDU in the international academic environment," the chairman of the conference DSMIE-2022, Professor Vitaly IVANOV, said.
