A Japanese newspaper reports on SumDU engineering education

The Chunichi Shimbun newspaper published an interview with Vitalii IVANOV. He is a professor, the head of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering, Machines and Tools. Also, he works as the vice dean of the Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy Efficient Technologies.

The talk is focused on modern challenges of Ukrainian engineering education after the hostile aggression. The SumDU current academic and research activities were discussed as well.

Vitalii IVANOV interviewed within the SumDU project Follow-up Cooperation Training for Ukraine on Issue-Specific Training “Industrial Technology Education”. It is funded by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the ESD Consortium Aichi. The project improves the Ukrainian engineering education and prepares experts according to the Sustainable Development Goals.
