As a SumDU partner, Jagiellonian University (Kraków, Poland) organized the training course on recognition of education and academic mobility. It was done within the Erasmus+ project “QUARSU: Qualifications Recognition Support for Ukrainian Universities”.

Among participants, there were Ukrainian organizations that belong to the project consortium.

Marek FRANKOWYCZ (the project coordinator, professor) and his colleagues from Jagiellonian University worked with the Ukrainian groups. Also, Warsaw School of Economics, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA (National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine) and Serhii SHKABKO (Ukrainian Ministry of Science and Education) joined the meeting.

On 9 March 2023, Izabela BUKOWYCZ and Katarzyna TRAVINSKA-KONADOR (Warsaw School of Economics) reported on the Polish experience of academic recognition. They explained the Polish recognition laws and shared corresponding skills.

The event resulted in planning certain project developments to implement the best European practices for Ukrainian education recognition. Besides, topics of future projects with Poland were discussed.
