An Irish guest visits SumDU

On 4 April 2023, David QUIN (professor from Institute of Art Design and Technologies, Dublin, Ireland) started his visit to SumDU.

Vasyl KARPUSHA regards this visit as historic: Mr. David is the first foreign educator who came to SumDU personally since the war beginning.

The participants shared their impressions after long-term cooperation between Ireland and Ukraine. Joint research projects and future plans were discussed.

“Our partnership has been lasting for over 10 years. We have been succeeding in curriculum modernization, immersive technologies, education and research exchange”, – noted Kostiantyn KYRYCHENKO (chief of the International Affair Department).

New cooperation topics include: university green technologies, tighter international relations, study digitalization, etc.

Mr. David deeply appreciated SumDU innovations and creative ideas in wartime conditions. He is ready for representing the SumDU image in Europe and Ireland.

“Your visit is very significant for us. It shows the life is going on. We keep cooperating to realize joint projects, to build the European Ukraine and SumDU”, – said Vasyl KARPUSHA to David QUIN.
