SumDU raised the Olympic Flag to support Ukrainian athletes of the European Youth Festival

The Akvabend-SumDU Children’s School completed the current shift of the second summer season. The grand closing raised flags to support the Ukrainian Youth National Team. It participates in the XVII European Youth Olympic Festival (Slovenia, 23-29 July 2023).

The summer camp participants were congratulated by Oleksandr BRIZHATYI (SumDU vice rector for scientific and pedagogic work), Olena PETROVA (head of the Department of the Ukrainian National Olympic Committee in the Sumy Oblast), Yevhen POKHODNIA (chief of the Department for Youth and Sports of the Sumy Oblast State Administration), Tetiana PAVLOVSKA (head of the Spartak athletic organization), Oksana SHKURAT (hurdles record holder) and Tetiana ANTYPENKO (participant of three Winter Olympic Games, silver winner of the Winter University Games).

For two weeks, the Akvabend-SumDU members visited the swimming pool, trained, unfolded their creative skills and enjoined themselves.
