A branch of the Ukrainian Medical Students Association (UMSA-Sumy) has been established at Sumy State University

During the 16th National General Assembly of the Ukrainian Medical Students Association, held in Lviv on 3-5 November 2023, a decision was made to create a new associated local representative office of the Ukrainian Medical Students Association at Sumy State University.

Andrii Liutyi, a fourth-year Medicine student, who was elected the local president, took part in the event. The UMSA members also included education seekers: Asen Asenov (the committee secretary), Danylo Ohiienko (the SCOME coordinator), Favor Tope Adebusoye (the SCORE/SCOPE coordinator), Polina Hornostaieva (the SCOPH coordinator), Aliona Yaremenko (the SCORA coordinator) and Kateryna Zapeka (the PR coordinator).

The UMSA-Sumy aims to provide a dynamic platform for professional growth, networking and healthcare promotion in Ukraine.

The organization invites all medical students of Sumy State University to join the UMSA-Sumy and take an active part in this dynamic community.
