Two years of resilience, unity and will for victory

24 February 2022 is a tragic date painfully etched in the memory of every Ukrainian.

Two years of grief and suffering, losses, ruined lives… Two years of heroic resistance, courage and resilience… We have learned to value freedom and honor our Ukrainian heritage. The trials united the Ukrainian people, the entire civilized world and Sumy State University. Representatives of our university family are performing military feats, bravely defending Ukrainian borders, guarding the sky, multiplying educational and scientific achievements. Sumy State University has shown itself as a reliable educational and scientific outpost on the northeast state boarder.

We are grateful to the Ukrainian defenders for every new day, which gives us an opportunity to study, work and support the country in this difficult period. May the memory of the heroes who gave their lives for freedom and independence be eternal.

We believe in victory! We care about the future of SumDU and Ukraine!
