On 10 July 2024, the British rating agency “Quacquarelli Symonds” published the second edition of the annual ranking of European universities “QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025”.

It includes higher education institutions from 42 Council of Europe member states. Ukraine is represented in this measurement by 36 universities from 18 regions of our country.

Sumy State University received high ratings in terms of research citation, progress in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and internationalization of educational and scientific activities.

Among all universities recognized by “QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025”, Sumy State University was ranked 453rd, among Eastern European universities – 57th, among Ukrainian universities – 8th.
