Kostiantyn KYRYCHENKO was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of Education by the University of Bath Spa (UK). At SumDU, he leads the International Cooperation Department, assists the rector in international activities, belongs to the Oleh Balatskyi Department of Management.

The awarding ceremony took place in the city of Bath, on the campus of the British university, during a solemn event – graduation of students.

A historically important day, full of excitement and inspiration!

It is an extremely high honor to receive a title from a British university that combines old traditions with dynamic and creative development.

The University of Bath Spa demonstrates remarkable success, opens new campuses (one of them in London). You can find here doubled research and increased student enrollment. Global impact is ensured via strong partnerships and coordination in powerful international projects.

The British university has its own policy for recognition of individuals who have made a significant contribution to development of a particular subject area or society. The nomination and approval of a candidate is a multi-stage public procedure that culminates in the supervisory board voting.

The awarding ceremony traditionally takes place during the official graduation ceremony for PhD and Master students. A compulsory component is the nominee’s “defense” as a public speech about professional achievements and address to graduates.
