According to results of the European Commission selection within the 2024 EU Erasmus program, SumDU has received a new project CLOUD HED “Disaster Resilience in Higher Education Systems via Cloud University Model”. A project type: KA220-HED – Cooperation Projects in Higher Education.

The project is coordinated by WPZ Research GmbH, Austria. The consortium, along with Sumy State University, also includes representatives from Austria, Israel, Latvia, Poland and Ukraine.

The project aims to increase the higher education sustainability and improve understanding of challenges for functioning of higher education institutions in crisis conditions. That deals with armed conflicts and war. Also, a scientific concept is proposed that will allow higher education institutions to fulfill their educational mission via the cloud university model.

The project will last for 3 years (2024-2026). It will be funded by the National Erasmus+ Agency in Austria. Thematic management of the SumDU project will be carried out by the Department of International Economic Relations.
