According to the EC selection results within the 2024 call for proposals of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet program, SumDU received 3 winning projects.
The project teams included leading scientists from two SumDU institutes.
Two projects were awarded to the Institute of Business, Economics and Management. Thematic management of the Department project “EU_STRENGTHS: Strengthening EU Leadership and Capacity in Science and Innovation” will be led by the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Business Administration. The Module project “IVERES4U: Inclusive and Veteran Entrepreneurship: Ukraine’s Post-War Recovery Based on European Values of Solidarity Economy” will be implemented by the Department of International Economic Relations.
The Module project “EUJustice4U: Access to Justice: The EU Best Practices for Ukraine” will be implemented by experts from the Department of International, European and Comparative Law.
The topics of the winning projects are based on the European Union experience in promoting EU standards and values within science and innovation among students, academics, business, civil society, government, etc.
Authors of one project propose creation of a joint training and educational platform for inclusive entrepreneurial competencies of veterans at the national, regional and interregional levels. Implementation of this idea will harmonize and disseminate business start-up and management skills in the context of sustainable and inclusive growth for Ukraine’s post-war recovery.
The SumDU project team will also work on implementing EU standards into Ukrainian legislation. It will address existing and future challenges posed by Russian aggression. Also, it will consider need to use European experience in building a transitional justice system.
The topics of the winning projects are extremely relevant for our country, which significantly supports its European integration progress.
We congratulate the coordinators and wish the teams further success in project implementation.
