The stronger cooperation between Sumy State University and Whitefield Business School was discussed at a meeting between Dmytro KULEBA (the Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs) and Manish GOBIN (the Mauritian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade).
The talks between the heads of diplomatic agencies took place in the capital of the African country, Port Louis, as part of the Ukrainian minister’s visit. Sumy State University was the topic of conversation between the diplomatic representatives. They discussed the education cooperation development between two countries after signing the visa-free agreement between Ukraine and Mauritius. Expanding partnerships between Sumy State University and the Mauritian Whitefield Business School will strengthen academic ties and create new opportunities for students of both countries.
“Sumy State University and Whitefield Business School have been friendly partners and performers of joint educational projects for a long time (since 2019). In particular, we have a successful experience in implementing virtual academic mobility programs via Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). We exchanged guest lectures, spoke at international scientific conferences, developed a joint Master’s project in Project Management. The visa-free agreement between two countries, support and attention to cooperation of educational institutions by diplomatic missions open up new opportunities for expanding our partnership,” – said Tetyana MAYBORODA (the Deputy Head of the SumDU International Cooperation Department).
