Vasyl KARPUSHA (SumDU rector) has been elected the Chairman of the Regional Rectors’ Board of Higher Education Institutions in Sumy Oblast.

The board is a permanent self-governing body consisting of management representatives of higher education institutions. It is created in regional centers of Ukraine to improve management, coordinate activities, and address issues of educational, methodological, and scientific work.

Currently, there are six higher education institutions in Sumy Oblast.

Vasyl KARPUSHA thanked his colleagues for their trust. In current conditions, active communication and effective synergy between universities in the border region is especially important.
