Osvita.ua has published an article on the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities project “Strengthening the Capacity of Communities to Recover through Piloting Their Interaction with Universities”.

The Alliance universities actively cooperate with communities, providing them with expert, scientific and methodological support and assistance in developing recovery strategies.

Among successful practices, there is the experience of SumDU interaction with the Shostka and Sumy communities. The point is that SumDU, in cooperation with the communities, focuses on creating safe conditions in local educational institutions through construction of protective shelters and development of educational and cultural spaces. This allows communities not only to ensure the safety of their residents during military operations, but also to promote the long-term development of educational infrastructure.
