On 13 November 2024, Sumy hosted celebrations dedicated to the International Students’ Day.

Representatives of student activists of Sumy universities were awarded Diplomas of the Ukrainian People’s Deputy and Mayor for active citizenship, charitable and volunteer work, and significant contribution to youth policy development in the Sumy community.

Among the awardees are SumDU students: Daria KICHKO (BiEM Institute), Anzhelika KALCHENKO (Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications), Tatiana TKACH (Medical Institute), Diana STRUPINSKA (Law Institute).
