SumDU has once again confirmed its high scientific potential by winning the Contest for Basic and Applied Research Projects, as well as Scientific and Technical Developments of Young Scientists. It had been organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
In total, 168 projects from higher education and research institutions from all over Ukraine were submitted for the competitive selection. After a thorough evaluation, the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №1801 as of 27 December 2024 approved 82 projects that will receive funding from the state budget in 2025.
Among the winners, there are six projects by SumDU young scientists:
- “Ensuring the post-war recovery of green economic growth of the national economy: cognitive-behavioral technologies and legal mechanisms of international assistance”
Supervisor: Oleksii LIULOV (professor at the Department of Marketing, Director of the BiEM Institute)
- “Institutional and functional adaptation of the public health system to ensure the post-war recovery of the economic and human potential of Ukraine”
Supervisor: Alina VYSOCHYNA (associate professor at the Department of Accounting and Taxation)
- “Prediction of the properties of multicomponent biodegradable scaffolds for the treatment and correction of bone tissue injuries”
Supervisor: Tetiana OLESHKO (assistant at the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology with Medical Biology)
- “Integration paradigm of digital transformation in the system of combating financial crime: a synergistic approach to prevention and control”
Supervisor: Andrii SEMENOH (associate professor at the Department of Financial Technologies and Entrepreneurship)
- “Scientific basis of virtual reconstruction of destroyed cultural heritage sites for the strategy of Ukrainian recovery”
Supervisor: Ivan PAVLENKO (professor at the Volodymyr Martsynkovskyi Department of Computer Mechanics)
- “Development of technological bases for production of complex mixed fertilizers of monodisperse composition”
Supervisor: Ruslan OSTROHA (head of the Department of Chemical Engineering)
In terms of the number of winning projects, SumDU and Lviv Polytechnic have the best indicators among all Ukrainian universities.
