24 February 2022 will forever be remembered in the history of Ukraine as a day of great trial. Three years of full-scale invasion, three years of pain and loss, but also three years of unprecedented strength, unity, and resilience of our people.

Today, on the third anniversary of the full-scale invasion, we unite in a common national prayer, which is a testament to spiritual unity of the Ukrainian people, a symbol of unwavering faith in victory. We believe sincere prayer will protect Ukraine and our defenders who continue to fight on the battlefield.

On this day, we bow our heads to the memory of those who gave their lives for freedom of Ukraine. Eternal glory to the Heroes!

We are extremely grateful to our defenders: soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, volunteers, medics, rescuers, volunteers, and everyone who brings victory closer every day. Thanks to you, we have an opportunity to live, teach and learn. We keep working for future of the country.

The university community, like the whole country, stood up to defend the state. Our students, teachers, and alumni joined the fight: some with arms in hand, some in the volunteer movement, some by continuing their studies and research even in the most difficult conditions.

Despite all challenges, the university continues its mission to educate new generations of specialists, support scientific research, and help society in this difficult time. We have adapted the educational process to new realities, developed international cooperation, and implemented important educational and social initiatives.

Three years of struggle have changed us, made us stronger, taught us to appreciate every day, every opportunity, every human life. We believe in the Victory! We believe in Ukraine! And together we are bringing closer the day when we will be able to build future without war again.
