On 1 March 2025, SumDU held the Open Doors Day. The event took place online, which allowed applicants from different parts of the region and the country to join it and learn more about study opportunities at Sumy State University.

The program was divided into several blocks. In the first part, future applicants, their parents and teachers were told about the 2025 admission campaign. Specifics of the National Multisubject Test, advantages and prospects for obtaining SumDU education were discussed.

In the second part, guests got acquainted with faculties and institutes. Each structural unit presented its educational programs and opportunities for students in specially equipped online rooms.

Ivan KOZII (vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work) greeted the participants:

Despite all challenges, SumDU remains a leader in education and science, opening its doors to talented young people. The event included interactive communication with speakers. Everybody had an opportunity to receive meaningful information about this year’s admission to higher education institutions in Ukraine. One described nuances in training, internships, graduate employment prospects, active leisure and comfortable living conditions for students directly at SumDU.

The Open Doors Day gathered a large number of participants in the virtual space, which proves once again: SumDU is a university of opportunities, prospects and great achievements.

Soon, future applicants and their parents will have an opportunity to get to know the university even better: SumDU will invite everyone to a live communication within the institution walls.
