Roman MOSKALENKO (SumDU professor) was awarded with a letter of appreciation by Olha POLOTSKA (executive director of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine).

The SumDU representative received the award “for his significant personal contribution to national research development and its global integration, as well as for grant funding improvement among Ukrainian researchers”.

The award ceremony took place at the March meeting of the Academic Board of the National Research Foundation of Ukraine. It was timed to coincide with completion of Roman MOSKALENKO’S four-year term as a SumDU representative in the Academic Board.

The SumDU professor worked in the Section of Biology, Medicine and Agricultural Sciences. Participated in development of terms of the NRFU competitions. Acted as a judge of the Ukrainian-Swiss competition and actively contributed to development of this section.

The award was recognition of Roman MOSKALENKO’S many years of fruitful work and his important contribution to support and development of scientific initiatives in Ukraine.
