On 13 April 2024, two students of the SumDU Medical Institute (Daria LOBODA and Svitlana STEPA) were killed in the enemy attack.

The girls, along with dozens of other civilians, became victims of the bloody Russian monster who fired two deadly missiles at the city center on the great Christian holiday – Palm Sunday. For non-humans, there are no religious holidays. They have no empathy, nothing is sacred.

This is a terrible tragedy, a hellish pain that tears the soul of every normal person. Again and again, we are losing the most precious thing – the color of our nation.

Daria and Svitlana were young, intelligent, beautiful... Their lives were full of good dreams, plans, and hopes. They both had a sensitive heart and a bright soul. They wanted to become doctors, to rescue people, to give hope for healing, to do good and mercy.

A bloodthirsty aggressor can take lives, but he will not be able to take away the bright memories of our girls, which will remain in the heart of every member of the SumDU family. Let us cherish the memory of Daria and Svitlana, help each other to survive this terrible battle for the nation life.

The punishment for human atrocities is irreversible, and faith in life gives you the strength to survive!
