For the second year in a row, Sumy State University has been ranked second among Ukrainian higher education institutions in the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP).
The leader of the national ranking is Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Three other leading institutions are V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
The URAP ranking methodology evaluates universities based on key academic performance indicators, such as the number of published articles, citations, and international cooperation. The study database is the InCites service from Clarivate, which uses information from Web of Science.
