In 5 hours, he fought 8 matches: four in the octagon (fighting), four on the khort (fighting).
According to the competition results, Oleksandr became the European champion in the duel and won second place in grappling.
We sincerely congratulate our athlete on his brilliant result and wish him new bright victories!
Note: Khortynh is a modern martial art created in Ukraine, with a universal set of strikes and techniques, as close as possible to mixed martial arts (MMA). The khortynh peculiarity is its versatility. It combines many elements from different martial arts: wrestling, sambo, judo, karate, boxing, kickboxing, etc. This type of martial art is named after the place where all Cossack fights were held – the Cossack circle “khort”, in which they gathered to identify the strongest. Since 2010, khortynh has been included in the list of recognized Ukrainian sports.
