On 23-25 May 2025, the second round of the international art contest “Magical Fantasies” took place in Chernivtsi. It was organized by the All-Ukrainian National Music Union with support of the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications. The event brought together about 700 participants: musicians and vocalists from all over Ukraine and abroad.

The jury consisted of music teachers and professional performers from Ukraine, Germany, Japan, Great Britain, Belgium, and Kazakhstan.

Talented students and members of the SumDU vocal studio took part in the contest and represented the university in the “Pop Vocal” category.

Based on performance results, Daryna RUBAN (IFSK) won the first place while Vira BARDAKOVA (BiEM) and Daria KLIUIEVA (IFSK) won the second place. In addition, Daryna RUBAN was invited to the gala concert as one of the best contest performers.
