May was a month of active recovery work after the SumDU damage as a result of rocket strikes on 13 April 2025.

As of 1 June 2025, the total amount of donations to SumDU charity accounts since 13 April was 2,245,479.45 hryvnias, of which 14,700 hryvnias were received in May. Expenses for May are 206,412.5 hryvnias, and total expenses since the recovery start are 898,841.62 hryvnias.

The main areas of May expenditure were as follows. 193,990 hryvnias were spent on purchase of windows. 12,422.50 hryvnias were spent on components for repair of window structures.

The university community completed a significant work in May. 34 windows and 18 double-glazed windows were installed, which made it possible to restore light-transmitting structures in damaged premises. 270 m3 of construction debris were removed, and the Congress Center was cleared of debris and remnants of destroyed structures.

A particularly important achievement was covering approximately 1,200 m² of window openings and atriums with OSB boards. These measures are critically necessary to protect the premises from further destruction due to adverse weather conditions.

Recovery of SumDU damaged infrastructure is actively going on. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who supports us during this difficult time and who contributes financially to our university recovery. Your support and concern greatly accelerate the reconstruction process.
