Times Higher Education, one of the world’s most influential ranking agencies, has published results of its annual THE Impact Rankings. It assesses scientific, educational, managerial, and support activities of higher education institutions across all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.
The number of participating universities is record-breaking. This year, it has grown to 2,526 institutions from 130 countries. The number of Ukrainian institutions is also record-breaking: it has grown from 42 to 55 compared to the last year.
SumDU, which has been ranked first among Ukrainian institutions for the fourth year in a row, entered the top 301-400 best universities in the world.
SumDU demonstrates particularly significant results in Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-being), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). From this perspective, it is among the top 101-300 universities worldwide.
The university’s high position in the THE Impact Rankings once again confirms its leadership not only in the national but also in the global educational and scientific environment.
