June 2025 was another month of consistent work to restore the SumDU infrastructure, which had been damaged by missile strikes on 13 April.

As of 1 July 2025, the total amount of donations to SumDU charity accounts was 2,247,779 hryvnias, as well as 1,000 pounds and 345 euros. During June, we received additional 2,300 hryvnias, 1,000 pounds, 345 euros. We are infinitely grateful to everyone who joined in supporting our university. Together, we are bringing the restoration closer.

In June, the cost of restoring damaged buildings amounted to 533,142.83 hryvnias. The main areas of expenditure were:

• 201,450.00 hryvnias – replacement of windows;
• 254,078.98 hryvnias – replacement of double-glazed windows;
• 77,613.85 hryvnias – purchase of building materials (film, nails, etc.).

In total, 1,431,983 hryvnias have been spent since the restoration start.

Work to eliminate the damage consequences goes on. In June, we received a report on the inspection of structures in the K2 Academic Building and began preparations for ordering design work on conservation of a building part. We also received a technical inspection report on the Congress Center, on the basis of which we began ordering design documentation for the full building restoration within the charitable assistance.

Besides, 60 m³ of construction debris was removed in June (330 m³ in total), which will allow access to next restoration stages.

Work on rebuilding the damaged SumDU infrastructure is actively going on. We are sincerely grateful to everyone who supports us during this difficult time and who contributes financially to the university recovery.
