The SumDU student choir of contemporary song worthily represented Ukraine at the International Art Contest “Viva Talento 2025”. It was held in the city of Ravenna (Italy). This year, over 300 performers from Ukraine, Latvia, Switzerland and Lithuania took part in the event.

The high level of training and artistry of our students was noted by international jury. The choir won the first place in the Choral Singing nomination.

Olha BONDARENKO (head of the SumDU Cultural and Art Center) emphasizes importance of such events:

“The performance of Ukrainian patriotic songs not only popularizes national folk art, but also draws attention of the world community to the war in Ukraine and joint efforts in countering Russian aggression. Therefore, participation in such competitions has a special mission”.
