SumDU was among the most successful institutions according to results of scientific project competitions held in 2025 by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

27 SumDU projects won the main competition for fundamental and applied research, which is the highest number among Ukrainian institutions. The overall effectiveness of participation in this competition is 64%.

This result confirms the university’s strong scientific potential, as well as active participation of our scientists in all-Ukrainian research initiatives. This is a significant contribution to strengthening the position of Sumy State University as a leading educational and scientific center in Ukraine.
