On 27 May 2026, the IFSK faculty hosted the 3rd International Scientific and Practical Conference “Strategic Innovations in Social Communications, Ukrainian and Foreign Philology in Times of Crisis”. The event brought together scholars, faculty members, and researchers from Ukraine and abroad.
The conference was co-organized by institutions from Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Germany, Poland, Morocco, Turkey, and the United States.
Anatolii CHORNOUS (vice rector for research) highlighted scientific achievements of the IFSK faculty: state accreditation in humanities and arts, implementation of grant projects, prospects for creating a center for shared use of scientific equipment.
“I would like to thank the faculty researchers for the results they have achieved. These achievements are important and beneficial for our country”, – noted Anatolii CHORNOUS.
Olena SUSHKOVA (faculty dean) introduced attendees to the research projects being implemented at the faculty and spoke about intensification of international grant activities.
“We are showing positive momentum in submitting applications for international research grants. Today, we have a wonderful opportunity for researchers from different countries to exchange experiences, new developments, discoveries, and achievements in humanities and arts”, – emphasized Olena SUSHKOVA.
The conference comprised six sections:
- Resilience and Adaptation in Language Education: Studying Linguistic and Cultural Dynamics;
- Media Landscape in a Period of Crises and Upheavals: Content, Technologies, Innovations;
- Sociocommunicative Models of Commemoration of the Russian-Ukrainian War: Humanitarian Paradigms and Potential of Artificial Intelligence;
- Language Pedagogy in Age of Digital Technologies: Strategies for Effective Distance Teaching and Learning;
- Interdisciplinary Approaches to Understanding Social Dynamics: Perspectives from Psychology, Political Science, and Sociocultural Technologies;
- Linguistic Diversity and Preservation of National Identity.
During conference sections, participants presented research papers on current issues in development of humanities and arts, media communications, digital technologies, and social transformations in the context of today’s crisis challenges.
