SumDU received a charitable donation of modern computer equipment from international partners, with the assistance of the Sumy City Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.
The university received monitors, webcams, laptops, and personal computers. They will be used to support educational process and further develop the institution’s digital infrastructure.
Amid martial law and constant wartime challenges faced by Ukrainian institutions, upgrading the material and technical base is a key factor in ensuring a stable organization of the educational process.
Serhii MALIUK (head of the Sumy City Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society) noted that SumDU is a long-standing partner of the organization and needs support during the war. That is why charitable assistance for the university was included in plans for delivery of humanitarian aid.
According to Andrii DIEDKOV (acting head of the SumDU Center for Telecommunication Technologies and Computer Equipment), the received devices will help strengthen the university’s technical infrastructure, create appropriate conditions for faculty and students to work, and enable classes and exams to be conducted using modern digital technologies.
SumDU expresses a sincere gratitude to its benefactors and partners (the Kvitne Association, the Legit Charitable Foundation, and the Sumy City Branch of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine) for their support, which has made a significant contribution to development of digital educational environment, strengthening of university’s technical infrastructure, and provision of high-quality education for students.
