The international agency Times Higher Education has released results of the THE Impact Rankings 2026. This evaluation analyzes universities’ activities within 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, taking into account their scientific, educational, and social contributions to society. This year, the final list included 1,603 higher education institutions worldwide, including 55Ukrainian universities.

Based on the overall assessment, SumDU ranked third in the national standings and was placed in the global ranking group 401–600. SumDU received its highest scores in the following areas: Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).

nclusion in this ranking demonstrates that university’s activities are aligned with modern global standards, and its high standing in Ukraine is a direct result of daily and coordinated efforts of the entire SumDU community.
